I plan to give the program my all and to show up 100% as a mentor. In return, I ask that students commit fully to the program in the following ways:

• Regularly attend meetings. If you cannot make it, please let me know as far in advance as possible.

• Work hard to maintain strong academic standing and to productively involve yourself in organizations outside of school.

• Utilize on-demand academic support as needed to maintain strong academic standing at your school.

• Share openly about your successes and struggles. I can only be an excellent mentor if I am up-to-date on your situation.

• Come to meetings with a positive attitude.

• Support fellow mentees in the L&S program.

• Commit to making L&S events and programming a hate-free environment.
